Al Falzone

Originally from New York, Alan worked his way through school at a local tree and vegetable farm before earning a degree in education. After teaching for six years, Alan's love for horticulture led him to a career as a grower in New York's greenhouse industry. In 1985, Alan moved to Western North Carolina to manage 10 acres of greenhouses for an international grower. In 1995, Alan opened The Potting Shed and has since continued to expand his knowledge of our area's landscape needs. As a Certified North Carolina Plant Professional with over 30 years of horticulture experience, Alan can help you design, install, and maintain a sustainable landscape here in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

Robert Alexander

Designer/Project Manager

Rob is the primary designer for TPS Landscaping. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 2015. Born and raised in Asheville, Rob has worked with several locally rooted landscape companies and groups to develop a fluency in WNC's landscape vernacular. Throughout his studies, he spent several months at a time living and immersing himself into cultures in Asia, Central America, and Europe studying horticulture, international design, and building methods. Rob’s design philosophy is to develop creative working solutions to each of our clients' spaces, according to their desires. He takes our projects from visualization through to completion, providing conceptual sketches, construction documents, final renderings, and frequent communication throughout the entire process.
