2. Thatch Rake. T hatch occurs as a result of accumulated debris at the base of turf grass, it’s a problem because it’s not nourishing to new plant growth, and can impede the ability for healthy grass to grow. To solve it, you need a thatch rake which is specifically designed to remove thatch. They can be one sided or two sided depending on which on you choose and have thick blades that can get ½ down into the grass for thatch removal. Once done with removing thatch, you can put grass seed down to make your lawn vibrant again.
3. Plastic Leaf Rake. A favorite amongst home gardeners, this is a basic, no-frills kind of rake that is good for raking up debris in your yard. They are often comfortable to use, with padded handles and can make leaf clean up quick and efficient.
4. Metal Leaf Rake. Raking leaves and how you go about it is a matter of personal preference. Metal leaf rakes are a good multipurpose rake. The springy nature of this rake is perfect for working debris out of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, and for raking leaves.
5. Garden Rake. Garden rakes are heavy and durable and perfect for breaking up compacted soil and preparing the ground for planting. They are also helpful for pulling heavy debris and big chunks out of an area due to its sturdy construction and forged carbon steel attributes.
