Biltmore Lake Residence

The Drew’s lovely home in the Biltmore Lake area of Asheville started as a blank canvas for TPS! The property is deeply sloped, and therefore called for a well thought out drainage system. In order to drain the water away from the front of the home, TPS created a lovely “river-bed” drainage system along one side, complete with a stone “bridge” to cross from one side to the other. On the other side of the house, natural stone steps lead up from the back yard among evergreens and perennials planted for their colorful blooms and lush greenery. Where the back yard once sloped away into the woods, TPS built for the Drews a beautiful stone terrace and fire pit. A five-foot retaining wall was engineered to sustain a large, stone paver patio. The highlight of the patio is the sunken fire pit, where social gathering last late into the evenings.
