Sprinkler Irrigation - The most common type of irrigation; great for watering lawns and for entertaining children.

Sub-Irrigation - This very effective irrigation system is contained in the ground and waters the root system directly.

Drip Irrigation - A piping system used to consistently provide deep watering. These systems are typically seen in gardens and areas of lawns that contain potted plants.

Surface Irrigation - A technique typically seen in large-scale farm production that temporarily floods an area to introduce ground moisture; it does occasionally have a place in home lawn applications.
