Spring has sprung, and although some states may still have winter weather ahead, here in Western North Carolina, the trees are blooming, the weather is warming up and it’s time to begin thinking about lawn care again. Perhaps you’ve had lawncare services before, or maybe this is your first time. At some point in every homeowner’s life, the need for some lawn TLC after a colder-than-average winter starts to sprout up, much like the flowers and trees this time of year.
Whether you’re looking for basic lawn care services such as weed control or fertilizing your lawn for grass seed or you’re thinking top tier and regular lawn treatments, soil testing, and direct access to a turf care expert whenever you need them, you bet your grass we’ve got you covered.
TPS Turf Care Programs
You can choose from four levels of TPS Turf Care services: Basic, Classic, Pro, and Premier. Need something a little different than what one of our turf care programs has to offer? We offer other services that can be added “a la carte” to fit your lawn care needs! Some of the additional services we offer are seeding and aeration of your lawn, grub and mole control, as well as more specialized services such as pH correction and turf disease control. We recommend the Premier Turf Care Program if you are interested in year-round TLC for your lawn.
7-Round Premier Turf Care Program
Our 7-Round Premier Turf Care Program offers top-tier advantages that will keep your lawn looking its best all year long.
7 Rounds of fertilization treatments. We’ll treat your lawn once every 1.5 — 2 months.
Broadleaf weed-control. Got weeds? Weeds are the number one complaint of homeowners everywhere, especially if they get into flower beds or vegetable/herb gardens. Weeds are tough to tackle, and they can grow just about anywhere, but with our weed control services, your lawn will never look better!
2 soil tests. You may be wondering, what is a soil test? A soil test helps determine the pH, the composition of your soil, as well as what nutrients may be lacking or that you have an abundance of that could be contributing to your lawn’s troubles. Many garden plants require specific types of soils and soil pH’s to grow and be healthy. For example, blueberries require acidic soil with a pH between 4.5-5.5, whereas Hydrangeas need the pH of soil to be between 5.2-5.5 to grow blue flowers and more alkaline soils with a pH of 6.5 or higher to grow pink flowers. If you want both pink and blue flowers, the range of pH in your soil should ideally be between 5.5-6.5 — in other words, a mix of both acidic and alkaline soils, which can be determined with a soil test.
