1. You’ll still be able to enjoy your hardscape during most of winter. Our Western North Carolina winters are generally mild, which means you and your family will be able to use your new fire pit, patio, or arbor longer.

2. Installing a hardscape in winter will protect your landscape. Installing rock, wood, or other hard materials in your yard during spring or summer will do some damage to your landscape, no matter how much you try to protect it. But grass, plants, and shrubs are dormant in cold months, so they’ll incur much less damage during the project.
3. Hardscaping will add beauty to your lawn and will take center stage during winter months. Let’s face it — while every season is beautiful, winter isn’t the time when you’ll be admiring blooming flowers and plants. Hardscaping is attractive all year long, and will add a lot to your property when the weather is bleak.
Bonus: Once warmer months arrive, you’ll be all set to continue enjoying your new hardscape. No waiting for concrete to set or grout to dry — your lawn will be ready for you and your family to get out and have fun!
