Mills River Fire and Rescue
Mills River Fire and Rescue recently completed a new, cutting-edge fire station in Henderson County and Chief Rick Livingston wanted the landscape architecture on the 7-acre site to become a gathering place for Mills River’s residents. TPS collaborated with Hawkins Landscape Architecture, of Greensboro, NC, in the design and 3D renderings of the conceptual landscape.
The landscape design project utilizes a combination of river rock and mulch in the planting beds for contrast and to minimize future maintenance costs. The softscape material chosen will offer beautiful ornamental plants during the blooming season each year, including the winter when over 50 Reg Twig Dogwoods display their stems and branches in vibrant red.
TPS Landscaping appreciates Turf Mountain Sod for providing the verdant sod on the property.
